Voter Registration Deadlines
You may register to vote at any time in Colorado, but if you wish to vote in an upcoming election, you must register by the following deadlines:
- 22 Days before Election Day if you register to vote through a voter registration drive
- 8 days before Election Day if you register to vote by mail or online at www.govotecolorado.gov and wish to receive a ballot by mail.
- By 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, visit our Voter Service and Polling Center to register to vote in-person and request a ballot.

- Change voter registration information (also available online at www.govotecolorado.gov)

Colorado is an All Mail Ballot State
All active registered voters will receive a mail ballot for all elections. Check your voter registration online to ensure that it is active and up to date.You may also update your registration and cast a ballot through Election Day at the Voter Service and Polling Center in Washington County, located at 150 Ash Avenue in Akron, Colorado.
Watch your Mailbox
Ballots are now mailed in every Colorado Election. Ballots are not forwarded by the U.S. Postal Service.
Return your ballot by mail or deliver it to the Voter’s Service and Polling Center by 7 p.m. on the Election Day, November 2, 2021.
Sign your ballot. Ballots not signed won’t be counted. Signatures on your ballots are verified by a team of election judges. It is an offense to sign any ballot other than your own.
